I like the position of the red bushes (Dogwood? - I'm no gardener!) in the bottom third. Have you tried an even tighter crop to take away the blue in the top left corner?
This would really suit a narrower crop I think. The colours are lovely
i agree, its a very good photo, but a wee crop would not go amiss
I am afraid even with a crop I can not find a focus for my eye. The colours are wonderful but I think this works better in nature than in a camera.
I don't think it needs a specific focus for the eye. Give it a fairly drastic letterbox shape so it is all about horizontal shapes and colours, turn down the texture to give it a softer feel and emphasise colours rather than shapes. I think this works best as a bit more of an abstract, I think that is how I would have seen the scene. I have had a go at editing it this way but annoyingly there isnt a way to attach it here
