For the annual location shoot competition you can take and submit up to six images in the alloted time and at the nominated location. No computer manipulation is permitted.
Details, including the location, will be available closer to the date but the shoot is likely to take place in the afternoon if you'd like to create a placeholder in your diary.

The first competition night of the year is the judging of the PDI competition. Judging will be done through the website prior to the evening, with results and display of images on the night.

Tue 23 Sep 2025 - Skills - Critiquing Images with Judy Hancock Holland
Join us for this in depth look at how to critique images. The emphasis will be on assessing your own images thoroughly, but we’ll also look at how to give helpful feedback to others, and how to receive and use the feedback you may receive from your fellow photographers. After the presentation, a useful written checklist will be provided.

Wooler and District Camera Club (WDCC) will be joining us for the review of the Annual Exhibition. We have also been promised a short presentation from WDCC on the evening.

Sat 13 Sep 2025 - Annual Exhibition
The club's annual exhibition will again be held in St Aiden's Hall in Berwick. Doors will be open from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday 13th September and Sunday 14th September. Members should please see the club's bulletins for submitting prints.
The timing coincides with the Berwick Heritage Open Days (HODS) week, which runs from Friday 12th September to Sunday 21st September. More details here: https://www.berwickhods.org.uk/

We will have a number of tabletop demonstrations looking at topics such as lenses and lens choice, macro photography and indoor ICM. Feel free to bring your camera.
Sun 7 Sep 2025 - On Location - Etal Show
In light of the outbreak of Squirrel Pox at Wooler Common and the advice to avoid the area we have moved the venue for the first Sunday Shoot of the season. Since a number of our photographers will already be there we have settled on the Etal Show in Etal Village.
Meet at East Ord Village Hall to care share - 12noon.
Gates open at 12.00pm with everything cleared by 4.30pm. There is an entry charge of £5 for adults (children go free) and there will be free parking. More details are on the show's website at ...
Tue 2 Sep 2025 - Opening Night, Summer Holiday Snaps
The season starts on September 2nd and we will meet at East Ord Village Hall.
We will update you on the coming season, give you a preview of AV for the exhibition and run through some of the business from the summer, including changes to policies, membership and fees.
We will also ask you to bring in some images (no more than three) showing us what you've been up to over the summer break.
Prospective members are welcome and we look forward to welcoming returning members.
